This is not a very fresh news, but still I have to tell you:)
I won a photo competition!
It was announced in January magazine "Photo Sélection", and the theme was "Jeux d'enfants" (children's games).
I sent them two fountain's pictures taken last summer in Montreal:
 
The second won :) Three weeks ago I received the May issue with it :)

Now I am waiting my check for $100 :)
This is the second competition I've ever taken part in and also the second win.
The first one was a year ago, in the college in the US where I was taking photo classes. Actually, that my picture was not a photo; it was a digital collage:
which I submitted in Digital Art Section.
Also, I submitted a real photo in Photo Section:
and it got no award :(
However, given that the Digital Art class was considered as a difficult one, as well as the third place in the section was not given to anybody, I think it was not too bad :)
That time I got an art store gift certificate for $100. Unfortunately, the store had no photo supplies at all, so I just bought some gifts for my art friends :)))
Now it will be a real money :)
